The Yellow Crazy Ant Eradication Program is operated by the Wet Tropics Management Authority which also provides funding assistance for Kuranda Envirocare which manages the Taskforce.

Community Taskforce
Our mission is to help eradicate yellow crazy ants from the Kuranda and Cairns region. We are a united group of residents making a difference for our community, lifestyle and environment. We are working with the Wet Tropics Management Authority's Yellow Crazy Ant Eradication Program to rid the region of this invasive species and protect the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area.
